Located on 3rd Street, First Unitarian Church stands atop the hill. Built upon the site of the former St. Matthews Catholic Church that burned down in 1853. The Unitarians purchased the land and rebuilt in 1854 but the majority of that structure also burnt leading to the construction of the current building in 1905.
